Pediped Supports Sacred Selections

When Bekah was a baby she didn’t want to walk. A friend suggested that she try Pediped shoes. A couple of days after purchasing the shoes she was walking! Probably just coincidence, but they were comfy and she didn’t fall very much. Pediped donated four pairs of shoes, valued at $32 each. Come out and bid on a pair of shoes for your special little person!

This year we celebrate the pending adoption of a Sacred Selections baby here in the Houston area, Jacob.

Jacob was brought home by the Patterson in April from Arizona. He’s growing by leaps and bounds just waiting for his adoption to be finalized.

Come celebrate the service to the fatherless rendered by the nearly 40 families of Sacred Selections.  In less than four years Sacred Selections has provided grants that have brought 38 children to Christian homes all over the nation.  To learn more about Sacred Selections, a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit, visit their website at

Last minute additions…

We have got some great last minute additions to the auction!

First is a momento to an inspiring adoption story!  Scottie Reynolds is a figure that sports fans might remember from this year’s Final Four tournament.  The 6’2, 195 lb. point guard played for the Villanova and made a run at a National Championship in his last two seasons.  He’s currently awaiting word of whether or not he’ll be drafted into the NBA.  All those acheivements aside, he has an inspiring story!  In high school he had a reuptation for being late to games.  Doesn’t sound so great?  The reason why is because he wouldn’t miss a Bible study or church service.   He’s made it through the world of college basketball while maintaining his faith.  Even that aside, to look deeper into his background is to understand why his story is so inspiring.  He was adopted as an infant into a Christian home.  This is why we’re here!  Scottie has signed a basketball and it will a feature item in our auction.  Please take the time to read his story!

On top of that we’ve been able to add four tickets to the American Idol 2010 Tour that will be in Houston on August 7th.  I know there are lots of American Idol fans out there that will be excited about this opportunity to see a sold out show.

We’ve been blessed by so many willing to donate to Sacred Selections and Darleen and I are so excited to get this show on the road and see how much good we can do!  We hope to see you there on Saturday!

You can buy your tickets here on the website or pay at the door!  $25/adults, $10/kids 4-12, under 4 FREE
